Get Drivers Back on the Road Safely
Our CDL Safety & Skills Refresher course is designed to help professional drivers rebuild confidence, refresh critical skills, and reinforce safe driving practices after an incident. This hands-on program focuses on real-world driving scenarios to promote safer habits, reduce risk, and help carriers maintain compliance with federal safety regulations.
What Drivers Will Practice
This refresher course focuses on hands-on training that helps drivers rebuild skills and confidence behind the wheel. By working through real driving situations, drivers can strengthen safe habits and improve overall performance on the road. Training takes place both on the road and in a controlled parking lot environment. Drivers will work on:
- Coupling and uncoupling (if required by their vehicle)
- Blind spot recognition and hazard awareness techniques
- Comprehensive pre-trip inspections to identify potential safety issues
- Vehicle safety checks and best practices
- Safe maneuvering and control in various driving situations
To make the experience as practical and effective as possible, training can be completed using the company’s own equipment or our fleet.

Why This Training Matters for Your Team
Ongoing training plays an important role in keeping drivers safe and your operation running smoothly. This course helps reduce risk, support compliance, and gives drivers the tools they need to perform their job with confidence every day.
This course not only reinforces driver safety but also supports DOT compliance, helping companies meet safety requirements and reduce the likelihood of violations or penalties. By investing in retraining, carriers can strengthen their safety culture, lower accident-related costs, reduce insurance exposure, and keep their drivers on the road with renewed skill and confidence.
