Career Services Support at Our Northeast Campuses
New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) provides CDL and HVACR training programs to students at our campuses across the Northeast. Enrolling in a program at NETTTS could be the first step toward an exciting new career path as a commercial truck driver or HVAC technician. However, the journey doesn’t end there — at NETTTS, we offer Career Services Support to our students to help them prepare for what comes next. Whether you’re a current student or a prospective applicant, you can learn more about the career services available at NETTTS below.
What Is Career Services Support?
Career services, or career support, is assistance offered by a specialized department at colleges and trade school campuses. These services are designed to help students with a wide variety of job-related activities to help them become successful in the workplace after graduating. Although career services support doesn’t guarantee any student a job, they can help students prepare for the job market through offerings like:
- Practicing for interviews
- Developing resumes
- Exploring possible jobs
- Providing networking opportunities
- Assisting with evaluating employers
- Encourage pre-hire agreements
- Arranging in-school visits from industry companies
How We Help Our Students
At NETTTS, we are proud to have a full-time team of Career Service Support Advisors dedicated to helping our students prepare to enter the job market. Our Career Services Support team works with students on key skills like:
- Resume writing: Get help developing a resume that will showcase your education, work history, and relevant skills to potential employers.
- Finding possible future employers: Get assistance identifying suitable job opportunities and employers and learn how to evaluate if they match your skill level and meet your needs.
- Job interview preparation: Learn how to prepare for job interviews, including questions you might be asked during an interview, what to wear or bring, and how to follow up post-interview.
- Upcoming campus events: Find out about new happenings on campus, like student presentations from employers and job fairs, so you don’t miss out.
Making an appointment with a career services advisor can be beneficial for learning about different opportunities that may become available to you.
Please note: Career placement is not guaranteed through career services support.
