    International Roadcheck 2017 Begins Today

NETTTS wants to remind all of the professional truck drivers out there that International Road Check 2017 begins today, and enforcement runs from June 6th to June 8th, 2017.

    What is International Roadcheck?

International Roadcheck is an enforcement campaign that targets commercial motor vehicles across North America. It is the largest campaign of it’s type in the world and this year this specific focus is on Cargo Securement. Over this 3 day inspection blitz, over 70,000 commercial vehicles will undergo inspection by certified inspectors.

    Inspectors will be checking everything.

Cargo Securement is the focus of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) this year but inspectors will still be checking all aspects of the vehicle and driver. This may include everything from brakes and lights, to suspension and steering. In addition to your vehicle inspection drivers should be prepared to show proof of insurance, registration, HOS documentation, medical certificates, Hazardous material paperwork, and that your CDL is valid and includes all proper endorsements.

    It’s all about safety.

International Roadcheck is a CVSA program organized and performed with participation by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and the governments of Canada and Mexico. As a CDL training school, our focus is on developing the safe driving habits of our students. This means schools are as much of a partner in Roadcheck as commercial drivers and motor carriers. At the end of the day the common goal is to create a safer experience for everyone on the road.
